Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled General Electrical Technician that will be responsible for the assembly of electrical components into a control panel.

General Electrical Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble complex wiring layouts on electric units
• Set up and testing of systems
• Preparation of panels for shipment
• Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
• Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
• Keeping work area clean and organized
• Operating forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and ship products

General Electrical Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC wiring
• Basic understanding of system electrical prints
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Prepping electrical control cabinets (i.e., unwrapping, cutting, installing components)
• Prepping assemblies mechanically and electrically
• Bending EMT conduit
• General use of hand tools
• Able to troubleshoot equipment
• Willing to travel to change parts out on completed systems
