The NAM has advocated for manufacturers for 125 years, and we are at a pivotal moment to shape what’s possible for the future of modern manufacturing.

Right now, manufacturing is on the rise but by 2028, 2.4 million manufacturing jobs could be left unfilled. The NAM, together with The Manufacturing Institute, the education and workforce partner of the NAM, has a solution.

That’s why we’re kicking off the 2020 Creators Wanted campaign, a national effort to build modern manufacturing’s workforce of tomorrow.

By 2025, Creators Wanted will:

  1. Decrease the number of unfilled jobs by 600,000.
  2. Increase the number of students enrolling in technical and vocational schools, and in apprenticeships and reskilling programs, by 25%.
  3. Increase the positive perception of manufacturing by 50% among students and parents.

Together, we will create our future.
