National Tool Merchandiser

JOB SUMMARY:

The National Showroom/Tool merchandiser role creates, manages, and optimizes Gulfeagle’s branch showrooms across the country to maximize customer value, drive top line sales and while increasing profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain regular contact with showroom vendors
  • Merchandise and maintain products throughout the showroom including stocking, rotating and building displays
  • Monitor tool sales and identify opportunities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

This role is responsible for ensuring all Gulfeagle branches nationwide are setup for success using showroom displays to enhance the customer experience and meet the needs of the individual market. The merchandiser will ensure collaboration between product vendors/manufacturers, branch managers, and the customer while creating a universal strategy with consistency, and best practices across the organization. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with customers, vendors, management, and team members.

**All new hires must complete pre-employment background check and drug test**

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 3+ years front-line sales experience or bachelor’s degree in business or related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to organize and execute a showroom to drive purchasing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50-75% to visit branches
  • Ability to operate a PC and related software
  • Strong ability to prioritize and meet company timelines/goals
