Responsible for assisting the Parker Store Manager in the day-to-day activities of the Parker Store. This role will coordinate customer service, product applications, inventory control, order entry and account maintenance. This role will also help develop relationships with customers both walk in and offsite. The objective of the Parker Store Representative is to provide customers with a positive and complete solution for their applications needs, while helping to increase our customer base and or average spend per customer.




  • Help to support customer service/inside sales staff with customer technical questions.
  • On occasion, trouble shoot failed product, or offer assistance with installation/routing best practices on-site at both Depatie and Customer facilities.
  • Seek out knowledge of current product offerings thru catalogs, product schools, and hands on experience with current technical staff (some overnight travel required)
  • Promote full product range of Depatie Fluid Power with walk-in or phone-in customers
  • Ensure a quality customer experience
    • Cordial greetings for walk in and phone conversations
    • Maintain a clean store environment 
    • Apply problem solving  skills to customer product application needs.

  • Contribute to the strategic decisions around store displays, point of sale items, and inventories.
  • Monitor pick up and delivery shelf to ensure on time delivery.
  • Assist in the  maintenance of inventory levels within the store environment.
  • Assist with proper product selection for a variety of customer needs and applications.
  • Contribute to building the strategic positioning of the store within the local market
    • Assist with the creation and on going review of a location based sales plan
    • Promote local knowledge of store location and capabilities
    • Develop local MRO and OEM accounts
    • Build relationships with customers both onsite and offsite
  • Follow up with Product Managers and Territory Reps on viable walk-in opportunities.
  • Deliver product when required, utilizing either personal or company vehicles
  • Be both capable and comfortable using powered equipment such as crimpers and hose saws
  • Seek to achieve On Time Delivery goals and high level of customer satisfaction through effective management of sales orders, vendor purchase orders and customer expectations.
  • May be assigned personal target accounts or called upon to manage a variety of Depatie Store/House accounts including quotation/price management, sales order entry, fulfillment and or delivery.

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Recommended: Technical knowledge/experience of 5 years preferably with Hydraulics/Pneumatics.

Recommended: Technical Certification or college degree.
