The Role:

We are currently seeking team-oriented and energetic individuals to join our company as an Order Specialist focusing on our high dollar projects. This role involves processing orders with a high degree of accuracy, resolving customer issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.


Hours:

8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday


Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and accurately enter purchase orders into the system.
  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data.
  • Identify errors in information provided by customers and take appropriate action.
  • Route orders to designated locations efficiently.
  • Receive customer calls and emails, developing plans to resolve issues.
  • Answer questions about Stouse products and advise customers on product selection.
  • Suggest additional products to customers and provide or request product quotes.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and take initiative to resolve escalations or complaints.
  • Maintain a positive representation of the company at all times.


Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required; post-high school education preferred.
  • Prior inside sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
  • Strong math skills and excellent written communication.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Team player, self-starter, and multitasker with strong time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $16 an hour

Experience:

  • Order processing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
