About the role

SIGN-ON BONUS - $2,500 (1/2 after 30 days, 1/2 after 90 days)

Based at our Niagara Falls, NY facility, we seek a dedicated individual who is able to drive tractor/tip trailers to and from the rail yard/tipping floor, operate heavy equipment (i.e. Reach stacker, Track mobile, Frontend loader, and forklift.) The driver will be responsible for operating the off-road tractor trailer units transporting and emptying the intermodal containers. Drivers MUST have significant experience in driving on and /or off road tractor trailer units, emptying containers, complete daily equipment inspections, and maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition. Also willing and capable of performing other job tasks as assigned under the direction of the RTIF Superintendent or Lead Operator.

Position Requirements:

  • CDL License is not required, but is preferred.

  • Experience driving and backing tractor trailer trucks.

  • Ability to wear full face respirator and lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, outages, and alternating shifts.

  • Must be able to perform minor equipment maintenance.

  • Must be responsible, well organized, and exhibit great safety & environmental awareness.

  • Basic computer skills.

The expected hourly pay rate for this position is $26.66
