Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Support Analyst in Kent, WA in support of multiple Phantom Works programs.

The position provides an opportunity to work with an experienced, interdisciplinary team creating innovative solutions to meet unique and challenging requirements. The team takes ideas and concepts from the drawing board, through analysis and trades, into prototypes and finally producing flight hardware.

The Lab Support Analyst will be responsible for driving execution in a lab environment to meet customer requirements and objectives.

This position requires an understanding of engineering processes, a familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills working with an interdisciplinary team to create balanced schedules and develop processes that meet customer requirements. Strong organizational skills and adaptability are necessary to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment. This position requires flexibility to support multiple developmental programs and changing priorities.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level and Senior Level Lab Support Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools

  • Adjust to changing priorities, supporting multiple changing demands and priorities

  • Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives

  • Participate in the development of engineering processes, methods and tools

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ or more years’ experience managing and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in a role that required interpersonal skills in a teaming environment where collaboration and communication are critical to the functioning of the team

  • Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations

  • (Level 4) 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • (Level 5) 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

(Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

(Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

(Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range (Level 3): $98,600 - $133,400

Summary pay range (Level 4): $121,550 - $164,450

Summary pay range (Level 5): $145,350 – $196,650
