Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for a Federal Tax Project Manager based out of Renton, WA. Other potential work locations include Chicago, IL and Hazelwood, MO.

In this position, you will collaborate with teammates in a hybrid work environment to support all aspects of federal tax processes in support of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business. A successful candidate will be highly motivated with a demonstrated understanding of federal income tax law, be able to manage multiple projects at once and have a willingness to learn new areas of tax.

We’re looking for a skilled tax professional with:

  • Public accounting experience

  • The ability to manage and support multiple tax projects (including planning, advisory, and compliance)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thoughtfully put recommendations together

Position Responsibilities:

  • Calculate complex federal income tax adjustments in support of tax filings

  • Research complex federal issues to ensure proper tax return and financial reporting

  • Collaborate with senior tax management and corporate tax team members on federal income tax audits to work towards favorable resolutions

  • Effectively communicate complex tax concepts to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner

  • Build lasting relationships and partner with the business to anticipate and drive innovative solutions to create value

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

  • 5+ years of corporate income tax experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to effectively communicate highly complex concepts to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and instructions

  • Excellent analytical skills (including the ability to research, summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations on various tax issues)

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • A strong knowledge in capital (property and equipment)

Summary pay range: $113,050 – $152,950
