We are looking for a strong technical leader to lead a group of about 15 software engineers developing software for products within the Electronic Systems Electronic Combat Solutions Business Area.  You will be the direct supervisor of approximately 15+ software engineers supporting the product line.  You will be responsible for the overall staffing and execution of software activities within the product line, including financial and technical responsibility.  You will work with the Product Line Engineering Lead, along with the leads of the other engineering disciplines to ensure program success.  You will also work with the other software section leads located at the same site to prioritize and share staff across all of the programs being executed at the location.  In addition, you will provide direct technical support on one or more programs within the business area.

Required Skills and Education
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and motivate technical teams.
  • Experience leading software or systems program teams.
  • Secret Security Clearance (active within the past two years).
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 10 years of work experience or equivalent experience
  • Extensive background in embedded and/or application software development.
  • Experience with software and systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with modern engineering techniques, such as Model Based Engineering, Agile, DevSecOps, Containerization, etc.

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Experience developing software and systems for Electronic Warfare products.
