Your Opportunity: Taylor Print Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Production Scheduler at our Fridley, MN location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation and translates orders into a sequential work schedule.

  • Plans and schedules workflow for press and operations.

  • Confers with production and order entry staff to determine status of orders.

  • Works closely with customer service to meet customer delivery requirements.

  • Expedites orders as agreed to meet unforeseen conditions.

  • Assesses schedule performance and advises the team on status and preventive/corrective actions required.

  • May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering

  • Prepares reports as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned:

    • Assists in purchasing and approval of indirect business materials.

    • Assists in on-boarding new customers.

    • Lead scheduler for production meetings.

You Must Have:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to work with multiple systems and create tools via excel or access

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Knowledge of purchasing, approval, and reconciliation of business direct and indirect materials

  • High school diploma or its equivalent with 4+ years of experience in the field
