Job Details:

SUMMARY: Responsible for the supply ordering process and inventory management as well as directing the work of the housekeeping associates

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Track inventory of production and packaging supplies
  • Order supplies
  • Monitor and direct work of housekeeping staff
  • Assist with associate training and coaching within the department
  • Perform inspections and audits of department area to ensure associates are performing in accordance to standards and SOP’s
  • Other specific duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines
  • Proficient computer skills; MS Word, Excel Database, and e-mail
  • Proven leadership skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated self-starter; eager to initiate new ideas
  • Organizational skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as required

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a meat processing facility preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements / Environment:

  • Stand/Walking: Continuously (8 or more hours)
  • Grasp: Continuously (picking up product to cut)
  • Pull/Push: Occasionally (5-8 lbs of product toward work area)
  • Lift/Carry: Continuously (2-12 ounces) frequently (up to 20-40 lbs.)
  • Other Physical Requirements: Bend/Stoop occasionally
  • Physical Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold environment (28-34 degreesF).

Rehire Consideration:

  • Max of two (2) previous Tyson employments.
  • 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
