MACHINIST I - COATING DEPARTMENT


Our entry-level Machinist I operator will be responsible for working in all areas of the Coating department; running PVD coating units, operating blasting equipment, stripping tools in chemical baths, and performing 100% inspection of tools. Operator will need to follow work instructions, use precise measuring instruments, and may perform mathematical calculations. Entry-level Operators work under the training and supervision of experienced Machinists.

Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities requires communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate PVD coating units
  • Operate bead blasting equipment
  • Strip tools in chemical baths
  • Inspect all work
  • Use safe practices at all times

Training schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am (15% shift premium)
