We are hiring Production Operators to join our team!  Openings are in our finishing, molding or melting department(s).  Operators in these departments run various machines &/or equipment to produce ductile iron castings. These position ensure continuous operation of the related production area to safely meet production and quality requirements. Insure all procedures are being followed as written.  Assist in the training of new machine operators and complete required reports to help monitor continuous improvement.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate machines or equipment to produce iron castings  (70%)
  • Performs production quality checks (15%)
  • Maintains a clean work environment (10%)
  • Completes documentation requirements (5%)
  • May be required to have or obtain training in particular materials, products, equipment or quality methods
  • Maintains a clean working environment, housekeeping,  & follows 5-S cleaning and organizing
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
