The Account Manager – Durable Assembly is expected to grow and retain H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments in Florida while achieving profit sales targets through both direct and distribution sales channels.

Primary Responsibilities

CREATING A CONNECTION

  • Builder of relationships; internal, direct customers and distribution partners.

  • Sales know-how for all stages of a sales cycle, from prospecting through post close.

  • Importance of time management and alignment with goals.

  • Drive increased, sustainable sales revenue, maintain existing business, grow customer base, and minimize erosion.

HELP CUSTOMER’S WIN

  • Drive customer intimacy by delivering H. B. Fuller’s value.

  • Conduit to the customer for expertise of adhesive applications through our numerous internal technical support team members.

  • Strategic resource to our customers on key market issues; raw material & supply trends and help the customer win with cutting edge product and process innovation.

  • Appreciates offering superior customer service—strives to be the “Go-to” contact.

DEMONSTRATES FUNCTIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Strategic planner to accomplish focused annual sales & personal growth goals.

  • Understands competitive landscape and how to position H.B. Fuller for customer’s advantage.

  • Experienced in sales territory management and utilizes tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI.

SALES COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIORS

  • Effective sales technique & strategy skillset to successfully call on various departments and levels within an organization.

  • Time management, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship builder with direct and distribution

  • Willingness to learn and never stop growing and understands the power of team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience; related industry and B2B experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in the adhesive industry

  • Salesforce and PowerBI experience

  • Currently based in Orlando, Florida

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Plan.
