This Accounting Manager is responsible for all general accounting of the company including financial statements, general ledger, federal and state taxes, internal and external reporting, internal controls, safeguarding of company assets, and managing staff accountants.
 

AS AN ACCOUNTING MANAGER, YOU WILL:

• Supervise and Mentor a team of 3
• Analyze and Prepare Monthly Financial Statements
• Analyze Quarterly/Yearly Federal/State Tax Provision
• Prepare/Review necessary Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Journal entries
• Analyze/Prepare CAR Report (Cost Accounting of Inventory)
• Analyze/Prepare Monthly Reconciliations
• Reconcile Intercompany Transactions
• Skilled Knowledge of new Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting Standards
• Proactively develop and assist in implementation of financial initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all GAAP, Federal and State laws pertaining to the operations of the business
• Prepare Yearly Budgets and Forecast
• Maintain Departmental and Combined Forecast
• Effectively communicate with appropriate business units and personnel, including corporate office
• Review Monthly Fixed Asset Reconciliations, and various other Reconciliations
   

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• BS or BA in Accounting
• Minimum of five years relevant accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel including Macros, Power Pivot, and Data Models
• Minimum 2 years in Management (team of 4+)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Master Degree and/or CPA
• Minimum 4-5 years in Management (team of 4+)
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local taxes, and working knowledge of Nexus
• Oracle Experience Preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Prior Payroll Processing Experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
   

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. 
You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM 
- 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and 
productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
