About this role

Executes financial reporting activities in accordance with US GAAP and Carrier policies, performs complex accounting activities, documents and test business unit controls, delivers monthly and quarterly disclosure activities, and oversees monthly activities of shared service providers. Key focus is to ensure balance sheet correctly reflects business results with a concentration on analytics and reporting. Supports business unit Controller with any key initiatives and business unit focus items, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP

• Oversees completion of transactions related to general accounting processes such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management by managing third party shared services team to confirm timely and accurate monthly deliverables.

• Document and test controls for large business unit

• Analyzes financial statements and reports to provide business decision support

• Leads medium-scale projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 7+ years of accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or MBA

• CPA
