Position Specifics:
Department: Sales
Reports To: Corporate Sales Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Provides product expertise and support to dealership personnel and customers in selling agricultural equipment
Responsibilities:
- Represents the Dealership in the sale of agriculture equipment to customers in a defined sales area
- Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Maintains product knowledge on Ag equipment and reports on competitive marketing and product activities
- Maintains and reports all Ag customer activities and trends in assigned territory to sales management
- Understands various financing options available
- Organizes product demonstrations and clinics for Ag customers and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events
- Maintains dealership vehicle and other equipment as assigned
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager
Requirements
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agriculture products
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
