This temporary position is an English/Qatari-Arabic interpreter. You will provide Qatari-Arabic translation in support of technical training conduct.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Assisting instructor-student communication during course conduct

- Assisting students with external interactions (i.e. setting up bank accounts, communications associated with landlords, etc.)

You’re highly skilled in:

- 2 or more years experience translating English to Qatari-Arabic and vice-versa

- Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Critical thinking and problem solving skills required

- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing schedules and environment

- Ability to communicate fluently, orally and in writing in Qatari Arabic and English

- Working knowledge of MS Office (MS PowerPoint and MS Word)

- Advanced knowledge of cultural standards and customs of the international region to understand colloquialisms and slang words

- US citizenship is required

You’re a great match with:

- Previous military experience in an Arabic-speaking country

- Current knowledge of military terminology

- Platform Instructional techniques


Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $30.16 – 38.43; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
