HybridThe Global Operations Supply Chain Organization has a leadership opening for the Supply Chain and Procurement leader supporting our location in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain management, with an emphasis on driving continued improvement in supply chain integration and performance. This is a leadership role, with a total staff of 20 Supply Chain professionals and managers.
This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, USA. This individual will work a hybrid model onsite in Phoenix.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maximizing operational performance by instilling a forward-looking approach in procurement, pro-actively identifying supply chain delivery gaps with the use of MRP systems (SAP / Supplier Portal), and leveraging the appropriate teams to drive throughput of on-time product deliveries into the factories to support flawless execution to our customers.
Integrating supply chain activities across regional supplier development, strategic commodity, transition management, planning, and procurement teams to ensure that systemic supplier deficiencies are well communicated and addressed prior to any business impact.
Leading account management activities to ensure strong working relationships with all suppliers / partners. This includes ensuring performance of the supporting team’s seamless processing of purchase orders, YOY cost savings, and burndown of overdue MRP elements (aged receipts, payments, etc.).
Confidently presenting supply chain topics internally and externally with customers, while interacting with senior leadership at the SBU and Collins level. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction while leveraging his/her team of managers and individual contributors.
Instill a culture of continuous improvement aimed at flawless execution of supply chain strategic and tactical support to our production sites.
Interface with Central Business Process Management Team to ensure the Global Operations business unit is tied into the central development and implementation of best practices across the enterprise
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time, including internationally
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
5+ years of prior supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
A general understanding of Aerospace drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes
Prior Leadership experience being a leader of leaders.
Knowledge of export/ITC regulations and policies is preferred
MBA degree
PMP certification
7+ years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role in the Aerospace Industry
Experience with SAP and ARIBA
