Emerson is Hiring a Cloud Security Governance Lead Emerson’s Cybersecurity department is responsible to secure enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures and mentoring team members.        

(Remote option is available with travel to Corporate Headquarters location St. Louis, MO on a quarterly basis)

The Cloud Security Governance Lead candidate will have a high degree of responsibility and will work closely with the Cloud Center of Excellence and Cybersecurity teams as well as our sanctioned cloud providers to design, build and deliver the appropriate policies and standards as well as identify and implement key measures to drive compliance and visualize metrics to Emerson’s leadership. This includes and is not limited to securing cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Infrastructure as Code, containers and other serverless workloads.

PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies specific to cloud computing. 
•    Specific knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS computing platforms 
•    Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and recommendations for new policies and standards
     to address the risk. 
•    Define key measures and metrics and assist with the visualization, reporting and enforcement of compliance. 
•    Report and escalate compliance gaps to the appropriate teams responsible for addressing configurations in the specific
     cloud scope. 
•    Understand and address security frameworks for inclusion into future enterprise standards and Architecture. 
•    Experience with Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service offerings, API Security as well as client, server and networkbased security architectures 
•    Build relationships, and influence decision makers to create, refine, deliver and evangelize information security
     standards and designs that balance business and security priorities 
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or any other related technical field or relevant work experience required. 
- 4 + years of experience in multiple Information Security Roles required 
- 2 + years of relevant cloud security design or architecture experience

- Must have experience with Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS service offerings

- Requires advanced to expert level understanding of regulatory landscape and related control requirements 
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate in business terms 
- Must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management within the organization 
- Self-Directed /Self-motivated/Self Starter.
