The Position and Pay
Hours: Days: 8:00am – 4:00pm Weekend Work Occasionally
Starting Pay for this position is $23.23 depends on experience
Work Environment:
- Plant Manufacturing and Office Setting
- Non-Climate Controlled
- Outside in Inventory Stock Yards
- Variable Temperatures
Job Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining CMMS for respective site, developing into superuser
- Loads and updates parts information, asset related records & doc; maintain accurate database and prepares reports
- Responsible for ordering, setup & storage of MRO components and tooling in support of production
- Works with various personnel to apply 5 Whys in troubleshooting
- Collaborates with operations management and engineering to track MRO components
- Maintains MRO inventory
- Order and maintain perishable tooling for production operations
- Regularly communicates inventory issues
- Prepares and materials to return for repair, core exchange or regrind
- Utilize SAP to generate purchases
- Stores tools in appropriate protective conditions
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- 5-10+ years’ experience in shop organization, parts management, work order management with in a manufacturing company
- Experience in issuing and closing out orders
- Experience in tracking MTBF, working reliability processes
- Experience in creating and tracking critical spare part inventory
- Experience with lean principles and methodologies
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use ERP/SAP & MS Office Products
Occupational and/or Physical Requirements:
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a continuous improvement environment
- Creative and analytical with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) while in a manufacturing plant and in inventory yards outside of a plant
