Job Title: Loader/Unloader Operator (Feed Mill)
Location: Siloam Springs Feed Mill, Siloam Springs, AR
Schedule: Monday‐Friday
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:00 am‐4:00 pm AND Friday 5:00am – 1:30 pm, including holidays and weekends.
Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.
Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.
Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
Starting wage - $16.00/hour plus, additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends

Mask policy will be in accordance with any local, state or federal requirements but will be provided to any Team Member wishing to wear a mask.
Position Summary:
- This position is responsible for unloading and processing all bulk and bagged ingredients for mill feed production. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Must be able to read, write, and have simple math skills. Must have good oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting is a must. Basic computer knowledge needed to produce Production/Receiving reports.
- Must be willing to obtain a forklift certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilties:
- Unload incoming ingredients in bags, bulk trucks. (45%)
- Keep assigned housekeeping areas clean, disinfected and pressure washed as needed. (15%)
- Operate truck scales, and ticketing system. (15%)
- Obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients including pit swabs, ingredient moisture content, bushel weight, observe ingredients with ultraviolet light. (15%)
Other duties, responsibilities and activities:
- These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: Operate Tyson Mill Control System (TMCS) Designate route, and grind, Follow all Blow Down Permits. (10%)
Biosecurity/Safety Requirements:
- The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all safety procedures.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift up to 120 pounds with the aide of a buddy. Will occasionally be required to ascend/descend a caged ladder 197 feet high. Repetitive bending, reaching and squatting to retrieve samples. Repetitive climbing of a 15 foot ladder to collect samples. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
- Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to corn and soy dust.
- Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required. Hearing protection will be used as needed. NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed. Hard Hats, Reflective vests, safety glasses and Safety Shoes will be worn as needed.
- Chemicals Commonly Used: Herbicides, Pesiticdes, and Disinfectants.
- Safety: TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. TM is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.
