Provide Components Engineering support as technical expert for electrical and/or electronic standard parts to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs. Control standard part configuration through the preparation and release of program standard part drawings and revision level control of vendor standard part drawings specific to electric aircraft equipment. Support conceptual and layout design phases with standard parts expertise. Promote product quality through qualification of suppliers, maintenance of authorized supplier list, and coordination with quality department on standard part quality issues. Mitigate part procurement schedule impacts through vendor coordination, technical inputs, alternate suppliers, action request resolution, and substitution documentation. Support production through investigation and resolution of standard part related issues impacting manufacturing. Maintain awareness of the technical and business state-of-affairs for standard part industries. Maintain standard parts tool for quick identification and selection of standard parts and ensure standardization across Lockheed Martin and suppliers. Candidate will be required to demonstrate familiarity with fundamental component manufacturing processes and with military/industry specifications for component parts.

This position is in Palmdale, CA  Discover Palmdale.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

• 3 years of experience working with military aircraft and/or electrical design

• Knowledge of Component MIL drawings, standards, test specifications, and associated QPLs and QMLs
Desired skills
• Familiar with GIDEPs
• Experience with wire harness assembly and schematics
• Experience with cables, wirings, connectors, fiber, switches, backshells
• Experience with capacitors, resistors, circuit interrupting devices, circuit connecting devices, lights, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits
• CAD Modeling experience
• Familiar with Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Testing
• Basic testing and qualification requirements for electrical components
• Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Prevention
• Familiar with SAP (System Analysis and Program Development)
• Experience with Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical (EEE) parts requirements (including military/industry specifications) and operation of EEE devices such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, diodes, etc...
• Demonstrate understanding with the usage of discrete, active/passive components and microcircuits (ICs).

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $83,800 - $139,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
