Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for employee and management inquiries and resolving where appropriate while escalating issues to internal parties as necessary.

  • Act as resource for all level of employees (management, salaried, and hourly) by responding to recruitment, benefits administration and HR policies and procedures.

  • General CSMC HR/IR administration including processing ad-hoc reports, maintaining employee records, policies, procedures and processes.

  • Participate in recruitment and hiring process including conducting new employee orientation and administration including liaising with other key presenters.

  • Lead and organize internal Leadership Program networking activities which provides a platform to integrate students with the organization to understand how various departments function.

  • Assist with employee relations initiatives including employee satisfaction surveys, health and safety and wellness campaigns, communication and employee recognition events.

  • Assist with Process Improvement initiatives including optimization and standardization of key HR/IR Processes such as Succession Planning, Recruitment, and Merit.

  • Attend and assist with annual semi-annual Leadership Forums conducted by the President of P&WC and senior Leadership team.

  • Assist in developing appropriate business specific training plans.

  • Assist in implementation and application of corporate policy, programs and initiatives.

  • Track HR/IR metrics including market feedback analysis and industry benchmarking.

  • Organization and maintenance of HR/IR department procedures including standard work instructions.

  • Update and maintain accurate employee information.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant, accredited program at time of assignment

  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts

  • Preferred start date in January 2023

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
