Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Computer Operator who will monitor and operates electronic digital computers to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data according to operating instructions.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Set control switches
• Ensure that correct peripheral equipment is utilized and move switches to clear system and operate the equipment
• Selects and loads input and output units with materials such as tapes and printout forms
• Observes equipment and control panels for operator messages or error indicators
• Sets up and runs diagnostic test and reacts appropriately to the messages and reports errors or machine malfunctions as required
• May perform clerical work incidental to machine operations such as labeling tape containers, maintaining production records, replenishing specified stock items, and distributing output materials.
• Take corrective action according to supervisor's instructions. May include working with multiple systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of various computer systems including Microsoft Office and various database systems
- Must be able to work day, evening, or midnight shift when necessary
- Demonstrates interest to improve and further develop his/her skills and job knowledge
- Must have Interim Secret Prior to Start
Desired skills
- AEGIS Production Test Center knowledge or familiarity. Closed Area Security knowledge.
- Must be a quick learner capable of absorbing technical material and operations information
- Must be a team player with a positive effect on the work group
- Ability to work with a diverse group of engineers and technicians. Must be prompt and reliable.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to interact positively with the customer
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $35,500 - $59,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
