The Concierge plays a central role in providing world class customer service to our guests. Provides the front-end experience from check in, through supporting multiple simultaneous events, to check out. Fast paced and multi-faceted position requires an attention to detail, strong communication skills, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Conferencing Manager and Conferencing Coordinators to ensuring that event requirements are met.
• Meet and greet guests, issue room keys and meal cards, as well as answering any questions guests may have.
• Programming room keys for guests or picking up room key reservations at local hotel.
• Responsible for making sure that all conferencing spaces are visually appealing. To include refreshing each space throughout the day: arranging tables and chairs, cleaning white boards, ensuring flip charts have adequate paper and replacing writing pads and/or pens, arranging supplies at each seat, and minimal cleaning.
• Set-up coffee break stations each morning and afternoon: brewing and refilling coffee air-pots, stocking beverage coolers, setting up snack displays, clearing discarded food and drink items, and cleaning all break equipment after each service.
• Taking of weekly inventory of Break Service items. Receiving of new stock and reconciling the packing slips in coordination with Conferencing Manager. Rotation of stock. Communicate service trends and work with Conferencing Manager to create new Break Service offerings.
• Responsible for the creation and installation of signage using facilities templates.
• Driving and/or delivery of multi-passenger van, rotation of fleet, refueling vehicles, and/or delivery and pick-up of vehicles for maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years minimum experience in Customer Service Role or equivalent.
• 1 year experience or ability to show a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to show examples of being POC or Lead on projects.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with customers and coworkers to provide world class customer service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, and web based searches.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
• Must be highly organized with great attention to detail with ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Self-motivated individual with ability to think outside the box and contribute new and innovative ideas to the team.
• Must exhibit a willingness to learn from multiple sources with a positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask, follow assigned task, and to take initiative to complete tasks without being prompted.
