The Configuration Analyst will have the opportunity to work with our top, industry leading multi-disciplined design professionals. In this mission critical role managing product revision control will be a major focus. The Analyst will have the opportunity to support documentation traceability efforts across our manufacturing and engineering design teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tracking changes to ensure we will always have Truth, Trust, and Traceability (T3).
Ensuring that Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures are fully implemented and are compliant with contractual and internal requirements will be a key driver for this role.
The Analyst will have the opportunity to track and control our configuration baseline through the change management process for the life cycle of products assigned.

Position Summary:
• Ensuring that Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures are fully implemented and are compliant with contractual and internal requirements.
• Responsible for completing Work flows in Windchill PLM System.
• Complete required MS Word document updates in preparation of document release.
• Release approved documentation
• Assist in Controlling configuration baseline through the change management process for the life cycle of a product.
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of configuration items and communicating status to team members.
• Responsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining product release and changes.
• Distributes, and tracks all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board (CCB) action.
• Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with the application of CM-related policies and procedures.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Understanding of EBOMs and MBOMs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-disciplined teams
• Self-starter and independent working attributes are essential
• Written and verbal communication skills, with attention to details and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.
Desired skills
• Experience with Product Life cycle Management (PLM) systems
• Experience with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, Confluence,
• Configuration Management Principles and Applications SAE EIA-649C
• Technical experience interpreting specifications
• Previous experience in a defense/aerospace environment preferred.

Westford, Massachusetts is a charming suburb of Boston located about 30 miles northwest of that city. Westford is close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Westford is within reach of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Westford and the region share an impressive past from the early days after the pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to the revolutionary war. Where can you get to from Westford? Westford is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the east without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Westford. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north.
It should be noted that Westford, Massachusetts is approximately 35 miles northwest of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $59,300 - $98,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
