Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a successful candidate who will bring general knowledge of Configuration Management and Requirements Management as it relates to requirements analysis and design, traceability methods and processes.  The work will be done at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Dahlgren.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  1. Provide Configuration Management (CM) process development and products for the Sea-Based Weapon System, SPY-6 Radar, and Naval Integrated Fire Control (NIFC) Programs.
  2. Maintain Common DOORS Module extracts, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Appendices, Top Level Requirements (TLR) Specifications, Interface Design Specifications (IDS), Interface Requirements Specifications (IRS) and various program documents/plans using DOORS, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  3. Provide document management for Specification Change Notice (SCN) generation; Change Requests (CR) generation; Question, Item, Response (QIR) generation, consolidation, and adjudication; incorporate change documentation into the document master file; and distribute CM controlled releases to the appropriate community.
  4. Support the development of new baseline requirements.
  5. Serve as an alternate to attend/support monthly Requirement Working Groups (RWG), Baseline Engineering Review Team (BERT), and Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.

Required Skills and Education
Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required:  High School Diploma and at least 4 years of related office experience with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Access/Excel/Word/Outlook.

Security clearance requirements:  This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.  The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements.  You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.  Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted.

Preferred Skills and Education
Highly desired but not required skills/experience:
  1. Active Secret security clearance
  2. IBM DOORS Experience
  3. SharePoint Experience
  4. Experience in Configuration Management for combat/weapon systems
  5. Experience with controlling classified documentation.
  6. Working knowledge of DOD Configuration Management Policies and Procedures
  7. Experience in the processing of Change Control Documentation (Specification Change Notices (SCN), Interface Change Request (ICR) and Deviations and Waivers)

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
