We are hiring for a Engineering Change Coordinator (Internally known as Configuration Control Analyst) for our Hanover Park, IL Location.  In this role you will be responsible for change documentation and item revision management, serving as a focal point for engineering changes between worldwide OEM customers and manufacturers. This position is hybrid to be onsite in our Hanover Park, IL office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities Are, But Not Limited To:

Role and Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering changes to determine the effect on the end-product design and function by collaborating with internal product engineers
  • Manage change documentation including Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Manufacturing Change Requests (MCR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in support of all product release and sustaining activities
  • Coordinate with OEM customers and manufacturers to determine a disposition of the change; create and distribute Technical Change Notices (TCN) to OEM customers; obtain customer’s approval for the change through Agile PLM system as required
  • Update internal Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with item revisions against each ECO
  • Support internal and external customers to resolve issues by researching Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings and product specification documents
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board meetings with cross functional team consisting of Engineering and Services
  • Provide language assistance in communication between FBIO Engineers and manufacturers in Japan (mainly, Fujifilm Business Innovation and its affiliates), as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelors in an Engineering or related discipline (manufacturing, mechanical, etc)
  • 1-5 years of experience in documentation control and change management
  • Highly detail oriented, analytical, and organized
  • Excellent written / verbal communication with ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment, with knowledge of engineering drawings and Bill of Materials
  • Direct experience with PLM software (Agile) and Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP a plus
  • Flexibility in working with different time zones (Japan)
