Hypersonic Strike Weapons Systems (HSWS) program area has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Analyst based in Huntsville, Alabama supporting the Strategic Missile Defense line of business. The HSWS program area is fast-growing segment of SMD, providing a great opportunity for personal career growth as well as helping providing critical systems for national defense.

As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will:

• Coordinate modification records for baseline control.
• Support and process program design manufacturing and change management product information using the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) workflow program
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other engineering support personnel.
• Ensure that customer changes are implemented and reviewing change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
• Submit and status contract deliverables
• Ensure program compliance to CDM requirements for baseline control, document control and document release
• Disseminate data to the program and government customer.
• Assign documents and drawing identifiers.
• Chair change boards and review boards as required
• Access control to program sites
• Manage distribution lists for the program

Typically has a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 0 - 2 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems
• Technical, Business, or related degree
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired skills
• Proficiency using SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Configuration Management requirements/processes/procedures, plans
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Data Management: contracts, architecture, scheduling, tracking and submitting data and working with data repositories
• PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) systems
• Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes
• Experience facilitating change boards or multi-discipline reviews
• Active Secret (or above) security clearance
• Strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
• Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly
• Ability to intermittently flex work hours to support Program schedules

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
