Travel: Up to 20% to Chattanooga, TN or Fort Payne, AL
Reports to: Product Configurator Manager
Department: Product Management
The Configurator Manager is responsible for maintaining the programming and the underlying data for the current product configurator for Heil Environmental and to interface with various departments outside of Engineering on Configurator related issues. The Configurator Manager will assist with building and maintaining logic for multiple products inside the Configure One (Revalize) Configurator, troubleshooting, researching options.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Maintain the configurator programming.
- Process Configurator Change Requests (CCRs) as required.
- Collaborate with IT to perform cost updates.
- Correct errors in orders originating in the configurator.
- Add and remove configurator users as required.
- Documentation of processes.
- Work with dealers and internal customers to improve functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues within the configurator.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is required.
- 1-2 years programming experience.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Requires demonstrated knowledge of general office suite applications including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation packages and database applications. Also requires experience with multiple web browsers including Chrome and Firefox.
- Desired knowledge of SQL, SQL queries, HTML.
- Heil product knowledge a plus.
- Prefer JD Edwards, Configure One, or Salesforce experience.
