Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Connectivity Specialist to join our Pool team. This position offers a higher level of support and expertise to ensure successful installation and integration of pool equipment with home automation systems.

This position has flexibility to be based near Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin.

You will:

  • Ensure successful installation and user experiences with Pentair-connected products and automated devices by providing direct support of Pentair dealers, builders, and installers via on-site business partner support, phone support, demonstrations, and online tools. Support will be provided to the Pentair business partner to support their business, not direct to consumer
  • Drive key consumer interests around monitoring, automation, smart pools, and sustainability
  • Drive proactive sales of Pentair automation devices and connected products by connecting with Pentair Dealers, Builders, and Installers to show the benefits of Pentair automation
  • Gather Field feedback on Pool connected products, automation devices, and Pentair App products, based on personal observation and field feedback
  • Suggest connected product and app improvements based on customer interactions, consumer feedback, and device data information

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer, technology, IoT, automation, or related discipline preferred.
  • Ability to understand the applications and recommend the best technical solution.
  • Ability to apply critical problem-solving skills and resolve issues
  • Ability and willingness to learn new applications and make technical presentations
  • Excellent relationship-building skills. Strong teamwork and networking skills across diverse groups and teams. Able to interact effectively with people at all levels, including customers, co-workers, and suppliers
  • 25% to 50% travel possible, primarily within region
  • Experience in sales, delivery, installation, and/or repair preferred
