Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual for a CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT role, based out of the strategic management office in Gallatin, TN.

This position provides support to our Construction Accountant, and construction operations in the region by fulfilling data entry and data management needs, and by completing required administrative tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Routine operational data entries involving labor, equipment, mileage, units, and expense reports.
  • Verifying the integrity of information entered to ensure accurate tracking of budget information.
  • Works as a backup to track and enter payroll and make corrections or updates as needed.
  • Works with all plant locations to track and enter materials inventories, record and maintain PO’s.
  • Interacts and communicates regularly with all the various roles in the division – senior managers, estimators, foremen, construction crew members, drivers, and equipment operators.
  • Processes payments to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Works closely on a day-to-day basis with the Division Management.
  • May be called upon at the discretion of the manager to perform other duties as necessary.

Wages starting at $23.00/hr. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits are included.


  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Business related field is preferred, but not required. Previous experience working in the construction industry is preferable and experience could be considered in lieu of a Business degree. A combination of both degree and experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary, both verbal and written.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities through to successful completion.
  • Previous experience working with payroll is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications. Experience in Oracle is a plus.
  • Flexible – able to adapt to sudden changes or unforeseen needs.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to work overtime hours, as needed, in alignment with seasonal demands and peak business times.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and provide valid I9 documentation.
