The Program Manager for Embedded Resources will be responsible for managing and mentoring multiple embedded Project Managers and in charge of the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of active client accounts. The Program Manager will lead embedded operations with initiatives that drive client experience, revenue, and a facilitate an optimal experience for our Project Managers. This position will require a significant amount of travel throughout the United States.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.

  • Directly manage a team of embedded Project Managers who report directly to the various retail clients.
  • Facilitate initiatives and best practices to keep embedded Project Managers engaged and pushing forward for BV.
  • Focus on developing and mentoring Project Managers to continue to challenge them on the value they bring to the client.
  • Develop methodology quantify the value of the embedded Project Manager for the client.
  • Create growth plans for embedded projects to grow our business in different avenues with placing an embedded employee in a client.
  • Construct a structured cadence for check ins and quarterly business reviews with clients.
  • Drive an optimal client and Project Manager experience.
  • Direct and mentor Project Managers during project development and program management from beginning to end.
  • Serve as an available consultative resource for Clients, and may participate in sales calls, presentations, and trades shows.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel within and across divisions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor/manage project team members.
  • Present reports defining project/program performance and profitability, resource availability and divisional goals.
  • Execute proposal development of Client and Project specific Scopes of Work and direct interface with Sales staff to assure client’s expectations and needs are met.
  • Utilize Web Based project management.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.
  • Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to use and skillfully operate a computer is essential to this position.
  • Ability to successfully work from remote location.
  • Ability to use and skillfully operate an electronic tablet efficiently in the field for live data collection is essential to this position.
  • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% of time to client sites across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location to support the client and embedded team members.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises a team of approximately 50 - 75 embedded Project Managers. specific programs by ensuring clear up-front scopes are understood, visits and projects occur on time, issues are resolved, and technical decisions are made.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education and/or Experience:
    • B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction, Architecture or Engineering preferred but not required.
    • Minimum of (10) years retail project management experience.
    • At least ten years of direct work experience in a project and/or account management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
    • Proven experience with at least 5 years of managing people and clients.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    • Strong consideration will be given to those that are PMP and LEED certified
    • Valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points/violations.
  • Other Qualifications:
    • Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.
    • Good verbal and written communications skills; good analytical skills and detail-oriented; ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; strong time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining accuracy; willing to challenge and ask questions; driven to achieve; ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
    • Ability to use and skillfully operate a computer is essential to this position.
    • Ability to use and skillfully operate an electronic tablet efficiently in the field for live data collection is essential to this position.
    • Must be able to work from a remote location.
    • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service.
    • Occasional weekend travel required.
    • Must be willing to fly and live near (or be willing to relocate to) a major metropolitan area with reasonable access to a major airport
    • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% of time to client sites across the U.S. via plane or driving. Overnight stays away from home may be required.
    • Knowledge of construction components, process and methodologies required.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with BV employees and customers.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis in MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
