Job Description:

The Field Project Manager oversees and manages all facility on-site activities for a small project, or a subtask of a larger project, in accordance with the project schedule, under the supervision of the Senior Field Manager. This includes directing and coordinating subcontractor activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications.

This role serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all site activities related to assigned area(s) of responsibility. The role encompasses the management and interface with various Federal Government Contracts and real property leasing operations, coordinating with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operations in the Department of Homeland Security.

Limited travel to supported client locations is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-year degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent).
  • At least 10 years' related work experience is required with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a field site.
  • Enrollment in PM certification program is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must pass a thorough background check with CBP prior to starting work.


SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
