The Construction Services Assistant will provide administrative support to the Construction Services Team by establishing a working relationship with each team member, field staff and customers.  Primary duties include timely and accurate communication, both verbal and written, exceptional customer service internally/externally, invoicing, creating PO’s and CO’s. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the production and disbursement of quotes for installation of our products
  • Assist with parts orders and reworks
  • Communicate with Internal Sales staff and external sales representatives
  • Complete Order Entry and the scheduling of ship dates accurately and timely to avoid production related issues
  • Assist with resolving freight and warranty claims within established limits of authority and knowledge on a timely basis
  • Assist accounting in the issuing and processing of PO’s, Check Lists and billing of projects
  • Maintain Installation Contractor’s insurance, contact information and OSHA records to meet Everidge requirements
  • Assist Construction Services and Accounting with New Vendor and Customer setup process.
  • Be able to navigate proprietary systems to retrieve information needed for day-to-day duties
  • Able to receive verbal and written instructions, maintain deadlines for tasks assigned
  • Direct Installer Help Line phone calls to appropriate department or Construction Service Project Manager
  • Assist in reconciling Construction Services end-of-month accounting
  • Coordinate variety of tasks with Construction Services Team members


Education/Experience

  • 2 Years Administrative/Customer Service Experience
  • Experience in a Construction related field helpful
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, Etc.: 

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills required both verbal and written
  • Proven skills in time management and multi tasking responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to be self directed and an independent problem solver  
  • Ability to expand work hours to meet deadlines and workload fluctuations
  • Understanding of shipment tracking and resources available to track same
  • Some experience in invoicing and accounts receivable/payable preferred
