Opportunity Summary

The coordinator’s mission is to provide assistance to the Construction Manager. Also, reporting Production quantities correctly on the project and is meeting the requirements of the contract.

Your scope of responsibility as Site Coordinator includes the following primary functions:

  • Responsible for coordination and overseeing construction projects in accordance with contract specifications
  • Review drawings and specifications of proposed project
  • Provide daily oversight of the contractor’s activities at the project location and maintain a daily log
  • Act as a liaison between senior management and EPC contractor's field engineers
  • Be able to verify actual contracted service, materials, and construction
  • Communicate constructively with contractors
  • Be able to provide technical guidance regarding construction matters
  • Maintain accurate project records, including as-built drawings
  • Assist in permitting process
  • Must be able to interpret construction plans, details, standards, and specifications
  • Will support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent as needed or required

Position Requirements:

  • Construction 10+ years of Journeyman experience and practices
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy while building relationships with EPC contractor and co-workers
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs including Word and Excel
  • Be able to enter data accurately
  • Perform inspection activities including assessing adherence to quality control procedures for Piping activities
  • Performs continuous surveillance of other assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving the Construction of the project

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

  • Must possess good manual dexterity; must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and squat; must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; must be able to hear, speak and see within normal ranges (use of corrective devices is allowed)
  • Normally works on job site where work is performed in a variety of environments; may be outside or in a manufacturing environment. Will be exposed to weather, dirt/dust, loud noise, and must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
