NORESCO’s Construction Group manages the design/build construction activities for large commercial and institutional facilities. Our construction management teams develop the scopes of work, project schedules and budgets, conduct customer meetings, maintain project records, hire and manage subcontractors on the job sight. Successful projects take dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.

As a Construction Manager at NORESCO, you will have a great deal of interaction with customers as well as other NORESCO staff. You will be representing NORESCO at customer sites; therefore it is of utmost importance to possess professionalism as well as good listening and communication skills. At NORESCO, teamwork is essential as every person on our team plays a vital role in the successful completion of every project we do. The person in this role will assist in supporting field activities associated with the successful installation of mechanical system upgrades.

As a Construction Site Manager, you'll be involved in the following:

●You will be working with an existing project team and supporting various scopes of work associated with the project.

● Interface and coordinate with customers and managing subs to ensure quality control and adherence to schedule.

●Prepare daily construction reports as well as monitor status to ensure the project adheres to the project schedule and expectations.

●Provide all necessary input to the project to ensure accurate record keeping.

●Ensure that all field work is undertaken safely and in compliance with safety plans for both NORESCO and the customer.

●Coordinate on site activities with client and subcontractors.

●Trouble-shooting and resolving project related issues as they arise while working with the Project Manager, Engineers, Owner and Subcontractor to come up with options.

This is our preferred background for this position:

●3-6 years of experience with management of Piping and Airside Mechanical systems, EMS, electrical and lighting construction projects or facility management projects.

●Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License.

●Experience with commissioning mechanical and DDC systems.

●Must have proven track record of success in dealing with customers, meeting project schedules and having oversight of subcontractors and/or project managers.

●Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.

●Willing to travel a minimum of 100% during work week. If not local to the job site, this person will be required to stay local to the assigned project site Monday morning through Friday afternoon.
