Contract Administrator R21222
The Contract Administrator at Pierce Manufacturing is part of the Sales team and is responsible for reviewing government and consortium contracts. This role will work cross functionally to support contract review and creation, along with develop effective communication and positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
YOUR IMPACT:
Manage and maintain national consortium programs and contract submissions
Support state and national consortium programs while working with Dealer Principals and the Pierce executive leadership team
Ability to partner with sales/order management to keep fire apparatus base model changes aligned with consortiums
Interpret contracts, make suggestions to protect the Pierce business model and effectively communicate proposed changes to contract language
Objectively evaluate sales contracts and ensure revenue recognition and performance bond criteria are met per company policy
Contract support for GSA and DLA federal contracts
Manage and maintain department data analytics and reporting.
Collect and maintain department process control records
Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate sales changes to the Dealer network
Audit internal control documents and communications
Minimal travel may be required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-plus years related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and within a team structured environment.
Prioritize and manage tasks and projects to meet timelines.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with government contract management
Proficiency in SharePoint, Visio, Power BI, mapping software.
Analytical, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication and partnering skills to evaluate data and provide recommendations.
