Description

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering a new opportunity for a Control System Project Manager to be part of our Systems Solutions business unit based out of Schaumburg IL. The successful candidate will assist our Engineering and Sales teams in the development and delivery of process control solutions for our industrial customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent process automation system projects
  • Manage team efforts within Novaspect project methodology including the design, documentation, implementation, testing, simulation, installation and commissioning of process automation systems
  • Assisting in the quotation and sales support of control system solutions
  • Establish and meet project team commitments and deadlines
  • Provide project status reports and serve as primary customer interface for scope, schedule, and budget issues
  • Balance customer satisfaction and project profitability objectives
  • Work independently and as part of customer project teams

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred) or technical discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience preferred
  • Customer relationship management experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in the supplier side of the control system engineering field preferred
  • DCS, PLC, SCADA systems knowledge preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs (i.e. Workstation and Server Class Computers)
  • Ability to work in loud industrial environments

Pay:

  • Cash compensation potential: $100K- $132K (Includes base salary and bonus)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:30 pm
  • Remote work is available two days per week after 6 months of employment
