WAGE: $20.00 per hour

SHIFT: 5:00AM-3:30PM M-Th. Overtime Currently Available

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High school diploma or GED. 
• Previous experience in core-making or related machine operation preferred. 
• Prior foundry or heavy industrial work experience preferred.

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position involves regular: bending and lifting; continuous standing for long periods of time on anti-fatigue mats; pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy parts and machines repetitively,  must be able to use arms, hands, legs and feet in repetitive motions. Must be able to wear required PPE including; safety glasses, ear plugs, leather gloves, safety boots.

Must be able to:

• Continuously stand at workstation.
• Walk between core machines and table during operations.
• Stoop at core machines to inspect, filing of cores, and retrieving boxes/plywood/pallets etc. 
• Reach forward to operate core machine, retrieve, and set cores, insect and file cores, hoist use, setting and retrieving core boxes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:

• Core machine operation
• Core box maintenance, set up and storage
• Production of quality cores
• Machine operator preventative maintenance
• Core filing, dipping and smearing
• Use of hand tools as needed for core production
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Inspection of cores for visual defects
• All other duties as assigned by management
