This position has primary responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions within the Credit Department.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• • Authorize credit hold overrides of customer shipments and communicate order status
  • Prepare and submit delinquent accounts to the state; review state list and update customer accounts
  • Approve credit on customer accounts by managing applications, limits and payment terms
  • Manage the payment application and maintenance process
  • Research and reconcile bank statements to correct deposit errors
  • Facilitate customer adjustments and write-offs
  • Ensure returned checks are charged back to customer accounts; perform trend analysis and communicate results

Job Requirements

• • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related field
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Credit functions
  • Excellent planning skills with the ability to manage and organize team work flow
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • AS400 experience preferred
