Customer Intelligence Lead for NA (North America) and LA (Latin America)
Description -
The role will lead all customer intelligence activities for the NA and LA (North and Latin American) markets. This individual will work with sales, planning, and various operations and category teams to define, build and execute next generation customer TAM (Total Addressable Market)and RAD ( Retained-Acquire-Develop) models for use across a variety of strategic business processes.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate advanced subject matter knowledge in data science, HP systems MDM (Market Data Management) and build a strategy to drive TAM/RAD leadership across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Build PC and Print TAM models for NA/LA markets.
- Lead development to improve current and future models and methodologies including buildout of new contractual views in all TAM models.
- Build processes to ensure the customer universe is constantly updated and refreshed to ensure HP applies sales coverage the appropriate accounts.
- Research external sources to obtain wide range of firmographics for organizations in both the private and public sector of the North and Latin American markets.
- Applies firmographics to statistical models to generate a Total Addressable Market (TAM) value per end user account, which can consist of one to many organizations.
- Using internal financial metrics, develops financial models to measure account performance relative to TAM i.e. Share of Wallet, Retain-Acquire-Develop (RAD) classification, etc.
- Owner of account databases for the Corporate, Enterprise and Public Sector (CEP) segments across the Americas, consisting of close to one hundred thousand records, consistently remediating according, but not limited to, both industry and market research/trends.
- Identifies and/or develops analytical tools and services that will increase both the quality and efficiency of data
- Acts as advisor for coverage of potential accounts and appropriate hierarchical structure within special case entities.
- Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of research methodology
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills including the ability to manage and execute complex data requests.
- Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to TAM
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel
- Strong knowledge and ability to query and write SQL code
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Very strong project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
