The enterprise customer master team is part of enterprise master data management, data platform organization. We support cross-functional business capabilities by providing foundational master data. We aim to improve data quality and promote data capability for all our stakeholders.
We seek an energetic and experienced IT professional to join the foundational customer master business operations team for US & Canada. In this role, the candidate will assist key stakeholders and supervise the steward team to ensure delivery of data solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to BMS and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead adhoc data analytics, data investigation, or data matching projects.
Enhance the quality and completeness of customer profile data and perform/coordinate head-to-head comparisons as needed.
Develop and oversee reports and metrics to monitor customer master data quality for US & Canada markets.
Manage team of onshore and offshore contractors to:
Conduct data analysis and investigations as warranted and assist corrective action activities to resolve data quality problems
Work with data vendors and other internal applications to remediate data issues
Ensure that issue resolution processes are in place and identify proactive continuous improvement opportunities.
Develop and govern standard business rules for customer data and monitor stewards’ execution.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions that reinforce US/Canada customer master solution.
Serve as escalation point to address help desk tickets and any data inquiries
Effectively work with a broad set of business, IT, stewardship services partner, and services providers to achieve organizational goals.
Provide subject matter expertise during functional and business requirements reviews and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing as needed.
Work across matrix team to ensure compliance with data privacy and protection requirements.
Define and implement operational processes and data standards to maintain quality and consistency of the data to aid critical business processes and analytic needs. Monitor adherence to policies and work instructions.
Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years’ experience with master data concepts and customer MDM. Experience/familiarity with Reltio solution a plus
2+ years’ experience with data analysis. Ability to query and analyze large datasets
Proficient with SQL. Any programming language a plus
2+ years of business operations experience and demonstrated experience in data stewardship – preferably customer master
Experience overseeing consultant or employee resources a plus. Experience managing teams across multiple countries a plus
Strong command of business and information requirements for master data management
Demonstrated ability to recognize and translate business needs into business system requirements, assisting transforming those requirements into solutions
Ability to translate complex concepts and strategy into meaningful communications
Knowledge of privacy regulations and data protection requirements
Knowledge of PDMA and 21 CFR Part 203 and 21 CFR Part 11 as they relate to validation of systems that reinforce regulated processes for the pharmaceutical industry a plus
