Cut Table Operator

Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, direct, coordinate the work activities (QC inspection & repair), paperwork, and resources necessary for the cut table and repair area.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate cut-table to facilitate Quality re-inspect and occasional cut order requests.
Inspect rolls held for off-quality and either accept or reject the roll based on QC standards criteria.
Maintain Cut Table reporting to document rolls inspected and the decisions made on acceptance or rejection.
Escalate quality acceptance decision to QC Management if help is needed to evaluate the roll.
Assist in helping repair rolls for multiple defects.
Motivated, Mature, and Professional work attitude. Must follow dress code and have superior work ethics.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
Helps train other employees to accomplish their daily tasks – repair and cut table assistance.
Any other duties requested by supervisor or lead.
