The Dealer Contact Job Duties include:
Assist all dealers in all parts order related concerns including parts identification, ordering, expediting, tracking, etc. Coordinates between dealers and various parts departments in areas regarding parts returns, core returns, parts claims, invoicing, credits, etc. This position has the ability to communicate by adapting effortlessly to various cultures and tendencies. Position is the prime point of image projection and responsiveness for the distribution chain and is critical to customer satisfaction. Further required to motivate other Company resources and redirect resources toward aggressive and often at premium resolution expense. Incumbent must possess interpersonal skills to overcome objections and be able to change the minds and direction of others.
The Successful Dealer Contact Will Provide the Following Key Accountabilities:
Assist all dealers in part identification issues
Assist all dealers in expediting backordered parts.
Assist all dealers in determining order status by utilizing various logistic tools available providing tracking/proof of delivery information.
Addressing quality issues set forth by dealers, end users, and various other company personnel worldwide by researching prints, GA drawings, ECN’s, engineering lists, and VASP list. This entails working closely with warehouse inspectors, Engineers, and Quality Assurance.
Monitor, track, and expedite status of Red Alert and TCS level orders.
Procuring service grams, illustrations, MSDS sheets, kit breakdowns, assembly information, and merchandising program information.
Assist Dealers with parts/core return problems and credit memos.
The Dealer Contact Must Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:
BS Degree or AAS with 1 year related experience.
In lieu of college degree, high school diploma will be accepted with 2-6 years of relevant experience.

Familiarity with telematics industry
This position is at times extremely stressful due to multiple competing interests and priorities from various sources. Department has the greatest amount of dealer contact in the Aftermarket & directly effects the sale of units. To maximize efficiency, this position has to adapt to different dealer cultures across industries instantaneously while providing the best customer service in the industry.
