Econolite has a new opportunity within the Software Development group. In this position, you will be contributing extensively to the automation, security, development, deployment, and operations of Econolite’s cloud-based products. You’ll be key in streamlining operations and processes for these applications, reducing downtime, and expanding proactive monitoring capabilities. The applications and algorithms we create at Econolite help millions of individuals on a daily basis. We strive to improve the motoring public’s quality of life, through better transportation efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Duties
This role is focused on DevOps related to Econolite’s newest Centracs Mobility products. In this role you will be working with the team focusing on improving the deployment, monitoring, and efficiency of the various product environments:
- Cloud infrastructure and software deployment, management, configuration, and real-time security monitoring
- Develop templates, charts, or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions
- Updates to software code to enhance monitoring, auditing, automation, performance, stability, robustness, etc.
- Monitor and maintain multiple Cloud DevOps environments
- Works closely with the technical and support teams to deliver and manage services with maximum uptime
- Contribute to projects as needed, such as development, documentation, and training.
- Continuous delivery and deployment automation
- Automated site operations and management, including process documentation
- Contributions to projects as needed, such as software development
Qualifications
The candidate will possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a mindset of continual learning. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals that proactively seek to grow their knowledge base and progress in their careers.
- Azure and Azure DevOps, including pipeline development, or applicable AWS experience
- Strong background with Kubernetes and Docker Containers
- Experience managing security policies and practices
- Experience with enterprise grade production software products
- Experience with continuous delivery processes
- Programming experience with high-level programming language, such as C#
- Experience with source control systems, including Git.
- Education: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering field
- Experience: 7–10 years in field experience
- Traffic domain experience is desirable
Compensation:
The base compensation range for this full-time position is $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year plus benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
