Job Description:

The Digital Services Product Manager plays a leading role in the implementation of products and services globally and across BW Papersystems product lines which lead to overall improvement of our equipment performance, customer experience, and building customer trust. This is a customer-centric role that requires a candidate to have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The essential work is to work with a team to translate machine data into products that provide our customers value.

Essential Functions:

  • Define innovative Industry 4.0, (IOT, AR, AI) solutions and services together with customers and internal teams.
  • Craft and execute a product vision and convert it to a go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a digital services product development roadmap.
  • Drive and develop digital services to generate revenue.
  • Integrate digital services into existing enterprise systems.
  • Enhance current customer web portal to include, but not limited to, improving and expanding access to machine status reports and alerts, to place part orders, schedule predictive maintenance and create service requests.
  • Participate in market research, validation, and white space analysis to identify opportunities for new or existing features and functionalities.
  • Partner with IT and engineering to manage roadmap and backlog for all digital products.
  • Support and train sales through product launches and key customer interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Three years plus of experience developing or managing digital services or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Experience in multicultural and global working environments.

Job Specifications:

  • Technical experience and product knowledge of Industry 4.0 related technologies and products.
  • Knowledge and experience with high level programming software and cloud platforms (JavaScript, Python, Azure, etc.).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Supervisory/Responsibility:

Role reports to VP of Global Engineering or VP of Global Service

Leadership Responsibility:

Role supervises a team of 3 engineers.

Travel:

Regular domestic and/or global travel is required for this position.
