Vertiv has a transformational leadership opportunity for a Director, Global Learning Operations in Westerville, OH. The Learning Operations Director will set and execute strategy for the Learning Operations and Enterprise Systems teams and align strategy and activities to the needs of the business. They are responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of instructional designers and learning system owners/administrators who will support learning design and operations for the global Vertiv L&D teams, with the goal of implementing global standards and improving Learner Experience (LX). They are the owner of the Docebo Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
The Director, Learning Operations will enable the global scale of learning programs through the management of a common platform and learning and performance technologies architecture. This role will partner with regional and global L&D program owners and teams to ensure the development and delivery of critical learning and development solutions. They will design reporting, dashboards, and other analytic tools to measure learning effectiveness, provide this information back to the business and use data to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Set strategic direction for and design learning technologies architecture to include learning management system (LMS), integrations, performance support platforms, authoring tools and software.
- Primary contact to oversee the Global Business Solutions (GBS) team to include talent selection, LMS administration and instructional/media design.
- Direct the Enterprise Systems L&D team, focusing on role-based learning to include onboarding and continuing education required as new processes and system updates are deployed.
- Oversee centralized learning operations to include global program deployment via learning management system (LMS), student communications, vendor selection and management, budget management, LMS reporting and analytics.
- Defines and documents LMS configurations, integrations, data entry standards, master data management processes, operational procedures.
- Manages the day-to-day operations, configuration, support, and maintenance of the LMS.
- Develops strong partnerships with IT, Security, Legal and other required teams to ensure LMS is compliant with global requirements and standards.
- Improve Vertiv global LX, taking into consideration regional, language and cultural differences.
- Develop and implement a global learner feedback and training effectiveness and KPI/ROI measurement process and scorecard.
- Collaborate with regional L&OD teams to design and implement global learning and design standards and implement a quality control process to ensure adherence to standards.
- Establish and scale student communication and change management process and standards in support of learning initiatives.
Education & Certfications;
• Bachelors or Masters degree in adult learning or other related field
Requirements:
• 7+ years of broad and progressive experience in the Learning & Development space
• Change Management
• Power BI
• Coaching
• Instructional Design
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, Communications
• Proven experience managing LMS platforms, integrations, and reporting.
• Strong consultant approach to client relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively (written and oral) with employees at all levels
• Solid organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and with little oversight; outstanding execution and follow-through
• Resourceful, adaptable to change, with a bias for action and ability to easily navigate between high level strategy and roll-up sleeves execution
• Proven success in analyzing performance problems, conducting needs assessment, and implementing appropriate solutions.
Travel: 10%
