Diversity Recruitment Marketing Strategist (Chicago, Nashville, Newark, St. Louis)

We are seeking a Diversity Recruitment Marketing Strategist to join our Americas Employer Reputation and Talent Sourcing team. You will play a critical role in developing and executing recruitment marketing strategies that attract diverse candidates to Mars in the US.

Role can be based in Chicago, Illinois (IL), Nashville, Tennessee (TN), Newark, New Jersey (NJ) or St. Louis, Missouri (MO).

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in diversity recruitment, recruitment marketing, and employer branding.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.

  • Experience creating and executing recruitment marketing strategies to attract diverse candidates to open roles, including passive candidates and underrepresented groups.

  • Solid knowledge of diversity recruitment best practices and trends

  • Experience utilizing social and digital channels for recruitment marketing.

  • Brand marketing copywriting experience required.

  • Experience with graphic design tools highly preferred (ex: Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Strong analytical problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Paid media experience is required.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Develops and executes diversity recruitment marketing campaigns across a wide range of channels, including social + digital, professional organizations, and a variety of media platforms.

  • Partners closely with TA, P&O (People & Operations), and Hiring Managers to identify critical hiring initiatives, as well as review workforce and applicant data to translate trends and gaps into actionable insights to develop successful campaign targets.

  • Works closely with ER and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and standards are met, and that we highlight our employee value proposition.

  • Collaborates with external and internal partners to drive diversity recruitment initiatives while growing our employer brand.

  • Responsible for providing on-site and virtual recruitment materials through our creative platform and ad hoc.

  • Creates communication plan and activates outreach strategy in CRM for diverse talent pools.

  • Monitors and tracks the effectiveness of our diversity recruitment marketing efforts and provides regular reporting and analysis.

  • Presents on talent marketing technical concepts and shares with stakeholder's potential reach, impressions, conversions, ROI, etc. (track campaigns regularly and report out on performance – tweak as necessary)

  • Builds strong relationships to advance our diversity talent strategy across our US business, including partnering with our TA Program Diversity Manager, Associate Resource Groups (ARGs), EI&D, and line managers.
